...of year ONE in NUS.
the end of examinations mark the end of year one in nus. currently experiencing the 46th hour of my FREEDOM!!yeah!
well, it was an exciting year!getting use to a different lifestyle,making changes,getting to know more people and many more. to me, sem 2 was much more difficult. going through much more than i expected and coming out stronger each day. struggling to get my modules, struggling to stay with the flow in lectures and seemingly endless readings, getting to know more about people's behaviour and getting to experience how it feels like to be cheated, being the driver while others experience a 'free-ride'.
i fall, stand up, fall and stand up again. each time coming out stronger with God's strength. and now i can proudly say that 'I SURVIVE!! with the help of MY GOD!' though how i wished that the sem was smooth sailing, but many lessons i've learnt through out this sem. it has shown me the reality and show me how bless my life is, under the protection of God and my family. There are so much more out there, the struggles that people face, the unhappiness, the situations that they have to handle not at this point of their life. i'm considered much bless!
man's ways and God's ways are different. which will you choose?
To me, God's ways are so much easier. this sem has shown me that people are always in competition with each other.trying to get ahead of everyone.even if it means to step on others and to reach your goal. its not great to experience being step upon... but i know that God will be there to pick you up and strength you to face this battle. i've experienced it, and testify for that:) thanks to my closest friends who have encouraged me through that time too. though the battle is still on, but i know that i have victory in Christ:)
while almost every exam period, there will be a song that runs through my mind. this time, its Taylor Swift's 'Love Story' and a classical music meets contemporary version of that song too! when Taylor Swift's 'Love Story' meets Coldplay's 'Viva La Vida'! its super relaxing to hear the music and it makes me miss my piano...:'(. hahaha. how i wish i could play that song! Go on youtube to search for it!:))hahaha. shan't post the video here...lazy...
